TW Steel Upgrades Grandeur Diver Collection

Amsterdam, The Netherlands (May 1th, 2013) – Leading the oversized watch market with its constant ability to produce stylish and inspiring new models, TW Steel turned its attentions to its popular Grandeur Diver collection and opted for a dramatic overhaul with the introduction of six new models.

Offering a far more style conscious look, but with an undoubted masculinity to each timepiece, the six new Grandeur Diver models underline TW Steel’s philosophy of delivering affordable luxury to the consumer.

All boast a state-of-the-art Big Caliber Chronograph Miyota 6S20 movement – one which is four times more powerful than any other chrono movement currently available and further showcasing TW Steel’s continued use of only the finest technology on the market. These models, as a result, are also visually more distinctive due to the larger chrono eyes visible on the dial face.

TW700 (45mm) and TW701 (48mm) feature a steel case with a black dial with a bold red chrono second hand. They have a sleek rotating bezel with black ceramic inlay sporting white printed numbers and indexes.

TW702 (45mm) and TW703 (48mm) come with a rich PVD rose gold plated case. Featuring a black dial and rotating bezel with black ceramic inlay, these editions enjoy rose gold numbers and indexes on the bezel to further compliment the case.

Finally TW704 (45mm) and TW705 (48mm) round out the new introductions boasting a PVD dark titanium coated case along with a titanium colored dial. These two editions also incorporate the rotating bezel with black ceramic inlay with white numbers and indexes. They also enjoy a bold red chrono second hand with red chrono numbers and indexes.

All models in the new Grandeur Diver collection are now 20 ATM Water Resistant. To ensure this, all pushers are screwed on to the case. And all models feature a black silicon strap in keeping with previous editions from the range.

“I was excited to be able to incorporate the new Big Caliber Chronograph movement in these watches,” stated TW Steel’s Chief Design Officer, Ton Cobelens. “It’s an incredibly powerful and accurate movement and one that fits our oversized designs perfectly thanks to its big size. These are very masculine timepieces and a true evolution of what we wished for in upgrading Grandeur Diver.”

A family-owned company, headed by CEO and co-owner, Jordy Cobelens, TW Steel enjoys a reputation as an innovative and bold lifestyle brand now available in over 100 countries.
