Montegrappa and Automobili Lamborghini continue their collaboration with an exclusive collection of fountain pens and rollerballs dedicated to the car that not only revolutionised the concept of the super sports car: it invented it.
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Miura, Montegrappa and Automobili Lamborghini present the Automobili Lamborghini Miura, a limited edition of sixty fountain pens and rollerballs that captures the bold spirit and unmistakable design of the legendary super sports car.
Design and Craftsmanship
The Automobili Lamborghini Miura is a writing instrument rich in details that faithfully reinterprets the original design of the car. The silhouette of the pen recalls the flowing yet bold lines of the bodywork, from the finial inspired by the engine louvre to the metal trim, as well as the references to the iconic air vents featured on the clip and the cap ring.
The cap incorporates an element inspired by the celebrated front headlight assembly. Crafted from
rock crystal and set on an engraved base reproducing the original texture, the pop-up headlight is
recreated in miniature through a refined tactile push-button mechanism that recalls the Miura’s
iconic headlight movement.
The 18K gold nib, finished with ruthenium plating and fitted with an ebonite feed, offers a smooth and precise writing experience, while the engraved Automobili Lamborghini shield reinforces its identity. The emblem of the House of Sant’Agata Bolognese completes the writing instrument, sealing its bold and elegant character.
The Automobili Lamborghini Miura is available in three colours inspired by the car’s original
configurations – Giallo Fly, Verde Miura and Nero – faithfully applied to the aluminium barrel of the
pen. It is presented in a refined custom-made packaging inspired by the Miura’s interior, designed to
enhance the writing instrument’s collectible value and preserve it in perfect condition.
